SUMMARY:Contractor Information Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Golden Hills Resource Conservation & Development is in the beginning stages of a project through the Iowa\nWatershed Approach that will design and install over $5.3 million of best management practices throughout\nFremont and Mills County\, IA. This will include a variety of practices such as: dams/ponds\, sediment basins\,\nterraces\, wetlands\, buffers\, stream bank stabilization\, bioreactors\, and more.\nThis project is funded through HUD and will be bid through a competitive bid process which will include\nrequirements such as Davis Bacon Wages. We anticipate there to be multiple bidding construction phases to\nbegin in late 2019 and run through 2021. To learn more about the bidding and construction requirements\nplease attend this Contractor’s Information Meeting. Members of the project team will be available to\nanswer questions and refreshments will be provided.
