We invite you to consider joining the Agricultural Drainage Management Coalition (ADMC). Already the coalition’s membership includes a diverse group of trade associations, drainage suppliers, contractors, and farmers that share a vision of installing more effective and smarter agricultural drainage systems. We seek to promote drainage water management (DWM), that is, the practice of managing water table depths to reduce nutrient transport from the tiles during the fallow season, and to reduce water deficit stress during the growing season. ADMC is committed to assisting the agricultural and environmental communities in improving water quality and increasing yields for food and energy producers.
ADMC has achieved acceptance of conservation drainage at the local, state, and national levels; among government agencies, industry leaders; and, most importantly, producers and landowners. We hope to look back on this moment as the turning point in making better use of water in agricultural crop production while improving water quality in the Mississippi and Ohio River Watersheds. This practice is definitely the missing link in the chain for achieving both. Join ADMC and become part of the innovative future in agriculture.
